It seems that this whole message of "Make America Great Again" is just a different way of saying, "make America the trashiest country to ever exist." I don't know what is going on with people in office or how their thought processes are, but it appears that they don't care for the rights and health of women as several states across our country have put abortion bans into law. In short, women can't have basic rights, and if you get pregnant? Well, guess you're going to have to deal with it. That even includes in cases of rape or incest as well; you're basically signed into a permanent contract.

States such as Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio, Kentucky and now Missouri have allowed the men to take it into their hands to decide the rights of a woman when it comes to pregnancy and carrying a child. Outrage started when it was announced that Alabama would be signing an abortion ban into law, making it punishable by the death penalty, and doctors could face up to 99 years for performing said procedure.

"Today, I signed into law the Alabama Human Life Protection Act. To the bill's many supporters, this legislation stands as a powerful testament to Alabamians' deeply held belief that every life is precious & that every life is a sacred gift from God." -Alabama Governor Kay Ivey via Twitter.

As a woman, I'm TIRED of others trying to dictate how I live and what decisions I make.

I know a lot of people are just going to roll their eyes at this whole, "my body, my choice" concept, but it's a real life thing that people seem to brush over their shoulders. Women today are having to fight extra hard for their own personal rights, especially when it comes to carrying a child. We shouldn't have to be putting blood, sweat, and tears into something that shouldn't be dictated by someone else other than ourselves.

If the situation were to occur that I get pregnant and I'm unable to support the child, I will have no choice but to carry it to full term. Even if my health was at risk.

I might have to bare that stress and anxiety with the child, but, the father has no legal obligation to be there and support the child. But I don't have that choice to get an abortion because it's now punishable by jail time or the death penalty. By law, I would have to start motherhood. I wouldn't have any other choice. Certain states allow women to get abortions if it poses a risk towards the mother or the child, but in any other case, it's frowned upon, and that's not okay.

Don't tell me you're pro-life if you're disregarding those who are already alive.

I, for one, am not pro-life, more so pro-choice and think that in every way should it be the right of the woman to decide what she does with her body and her health and her decisions to figure out what she will do about the unborn fetus. You say you care about this unborn human, that honestly starts as a cluster of cells, and doesn't have brain activity at least until 27 weeks, but you don't care about the person carrying that cluster of cells?

I am disgusted with the men who think this is even in the slightest okay. Because, it's not. One bit. There are children being killed every day, hundreds of thousands of children in Flint still don't have clean water, and millions of children live in the dysfunctional foster care system and you're going to try and tell me that you're pro-life? Give me a break.

Not only do women's rights not matter, but women don't matter whatsoever.

Forget we even exist, forget that we are living, breathing human beings who deserve to have rights just like the men who are signing these disgusting, vile laws to be official and make abortion punishable.

Let's take if rape and incest cases were excusable for reasons of abortion, still shouldn't be a justifiable reason for you to say how a woman controls her own body. Raping someone shouldn't be the thing that makes people, men, in particular, say, "Yup, you can get an abortion now, only because you were raped."

If you were someone who stood for 'pro-life', then it would mean you're pro-life towards the women whose rights are being stripped away by stupid laws being written by imbecile males that seem to not be thinking with their brains.

Abortion got banned quicker than guns. Let that sink in.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
