Dear Professor Who Doesn't Give A Shit That I Am Still On Summer Break,
I would like to inform you that while you are at home sending me emails with chapters that I am supposed to read before class I am actually out enjoying my summer stress-free. I, unlike you would like to live my life before the stress of college takes over my body for yet another semester. The summer doesn't end until the first day of classes, but here you are sending me emails telling me I need to read chapters 1-86 before the first day of class. Yes, yes I get it, once you're in the real world you don't get a break. But, guess what I am not in the real world yet, so I would like to take all the time I can to live in the moment of my breaks while I have them. I am glad you are prepared for the first day of class to begin, but that is the point of sylly week where we review just the syllabus, but you clearly do not understand that. Instead of getting a full grasp of the syllabus, and thoroughly reading it like most college students do, you are making me jump right into the semester.
I just have one question: Do you enjoy stressing us college students out before the semester begins, or are you a decent human being?
You completely get a feel for the professor before the semester begins if they are sending you emails requesting work before classes start. And no, just because I do not want work before the semester begins does not mean I am in anyway a slacker. I work hard in each and every one of my classes, but there is a point where I am not trying to die of a stress overload, and that is called summer, and winter break. I know you don't care about this stuff, but I do.
So, let us start over. I am just going to delete the email that you had sent out which requested that I had to read chapters 1-689 before class starts, and you are going to forget you ever sent it out. Because you realize that us college students work hard during the semester, and shouldn't have to begin actual school work before your classes actual start date.
