Dear Lord,

I ask that you watch over my state as they are in mourning for the loss of friends and family. Please watch over those who lost all that they have in the flood, including houses, family heirlooms, and all that is important to them. I ask that you provide comfort for all that was affected. I ask that you bring peace to those who lost their family, I ask you bring peace to our state officials who are having to find what the best thing for our state is. I pray that you have a watchful eye over the volunteers who are taking their time and helping the people who were affected, such as national guard, police, firemen, EMT and so forth. I ask that you help those who are struggling to find where to go next or what to do next. Lord, You have tested my state many times before through hurricanes and every time we come back strong, I ask that after this flood, you help the state come back strong. I ask that you help every parish that was affected by the flood. I pray that those who are struggling, find refuge in you in this time of need. Thank you Lord for helping our state in our time of need.
