Your testimony is the greatest love story of your life. It's got it all, a grand adventure with an enemy, demons, and dangers. It's also got a main character who needs saving and who longs for an epic love. The power of your testimony is awesome, so beautiful it's terrifying, because it is an account of your encounter with Christ.

Your testimony is unique to you. Sure, it might have some of the same elements, characters, and struggles as someone else's, but it is your own experience. It is one of the most important and incredible things about you because it is the story of your life transformed and it is always changing. There isn't an end to your testimony and there is no final draft. It is always changing, expanding, and deepening, just like your relationship with God.

The power of your testimony is immense. Jesus is the author of your story, so when you share your testimony, you are sharing Christ. Your story has the opportunity to spark a fire in someone, change someone's view of your beliefs, or provide courage and love to someone who desperately needs Jesus. The reason your testimony is powerful is because when you share it, God is speaking through you, it's not of your own doing. Being vulnerable enough to share your story allows God to work through you and draw others near to Him.

That type of spiritual power and depth can be scary and intimidating. But there are a couple things to know about sharing your testimony. God will never give you the power to ultimately bring someone to Christ nor turn them away from Him. While He entrusts us with great responsibility and calls us to minister to others, He will not leave us with power over his sovereign plan. So, when you share your story, there is nothing you can say that will ultimately lead someone to Christ nor prevent them from ever doing so. Either God will use you as a vessel to guide others toward Him or a combination of many things and the powers of Hell will keep someone away. You don't have to worry when sharing your story because God will use it for His glory.

The other thing you need to know is that your story is important. You may feel like it's insignificant, unclear, scattered, or messy. But it is perfect. It is perfect because it is the story of you and Jesus, the perfect Son who loves the world perfectly. Your story doesn't need a big catch, a neat and tidy ending, or a dramatic twist: it just needs to be real. Share who you are and who God is.

Words have power and your story means everything. Be bold and tell the world how you encountered the love of your life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
