I am a sucker for love and love hearing how people met, how long they have been in a relationship for, etc. I do not mind seeing their relationship in public or on social media as well because I am glad people can be happy with someone else. What is a pet peeve of mine though and I do not know why is seeing and hearing about someone's significant other throughout my day in person, and especially on social media.

This really is not a crisis issue; trust me there are worst things. This is simply something for me to vent about. I just do not get why people on Facebook and Instagram need to show off their significant other in not only one post but in many posts everyday and post pictures that I truly do not think anyone cares about.

I find that girls do this the most. Why do I need to see a picture of your boyfriend being cute while he eats eggs? Or know that he is going to the bathroom......

Like I said it really is not a crisis, it is just one of those things that bother me on social media. The way I handle this situation is just by passing it without acknowledging it, unfollowing the person, or just ignore it. I do not want to delete people if I talk to them here and there; I just won't admit to them that there posts annoy me.

Trust me, I am glad people are in love. I have friends who upload pics and posts abut their significant other which is fine and I am so happy for them. I am also aware that I probably post things on social media that people find annoying as well. I just do not get why people have to post pictures and comments about their lover everyday or even every second on social media.

Maybe one day if find my significant other I will start to be one of those girls talking about them every second; but I really hope not. Some things should just be left private.

For those in love though, at least you have someone, and if you feel the need to show them off, do what makes you happy and do not care about mine or anyone else's opinion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
