That day after feeling after being at a concert.

If you have ever been to concert you know that feeling after the last encore. That empty feeling of wanting more. The feeling of your heart still pounding full of excitement. That feeling or cold sweat from being in the mosh pit. That pounding feeling in your head from being too close to the speakers. Combine that all together into one and that is post concert depression.

Now you are driving home after the concert blaring the radio to relive the concert again in your head. You're drinking so much water because you feel like a fish out of water. You're posting all the awesome picture you took at the concert. You are re-watching your snapchat story because you can't get enough of it.

You finally get home after it all. You get in the shower finally and feel clean again. You get into comfy clothes. You go to lay down and then it starts to hit you. That empty feeling...

That feeling that you can't get out of your head.

You lay down and all you are thinking about is the concert. You are thinking about what was your favorite part. You are thinking about that band that played your favorite song of all time and how happy you were. You are thinking about when they played that first note and how you felt.

You just have these thoughts of the concert crowding your mind.

Then you wake up the next morning sore, tired and you can barley talk because you were screaming your head off the entire night before. Your mind is still thinking about all the moments as you are telling everyone about your amazing night.

After that you just keep listening to their music over and over again. You just can't get enough of their music. You start getting really sad because that moment of your life is over. You know you will never be at the concert again.

You are getting sadder and sadder because that concert is over and you really can not believe what happened the night before. You are in shock of how much of an incredible night you just had.

Now you are just more obsessed with the band. Now you are more obsessed with concerts in general. Concerts give you a feeling that gives you chills all though out your body. There is nothing better then that post concert depression. Post concert depression is like wanting more songs and crowd surfing but you can't have it because the night is over.

But the good thing is, is that you have all the pictures and memories from that amazing night. And plus many more concerts to go to then have to do it all over again. Then you get really excited to go to your next one that the anticipation kills you!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
