Spring break is over, you might still have a tan but you aren't in Cabo anymore. Its always nice to have a break, right up until the reality of school smacks you in the face like the waves when you were surfing. The ending of spring break is basically a five-step process, denial, anger, anxiety, sadness, and not accepting it. The thoughts you have are similar to every college student, Spring Break is a tease of summer, and I want it back.

1. So happy to be back on campus

2. Okay, Okay...no need to yell, you really did just see her a week ago.

3. The Sun is out and I am ready for this lovely weather.

4. That means that Summer is right around the corner.

5. Wait, so are finals then.

6. Okay don't stress, we can do this.

7. Wait, was there this many people on campus before spring break?

8. Do they even go here?

9. Hold on, just because we came back from Spring Break doesn't mean you can take my seat.

10. Um there is an assignment due? I don't remember that.

11. Okay its fine I have until midnight.

12. Oh shoot, and I have a test on Friday? What kind of sick joke is this?

13. I need coffee

14. Okay cool everyone decided to go to Starbucks at the same time, great!

15. There is no need to take this long to order a drink

16. At least the sun is out

17. But the Library is so dark

18. I could study outside

19. Oh but my laptop died on the plane

20. I wish it was still spring break.

SO, I've just recently had the fortunate experience to be reminded just how Michigan rains. Now, before you roll your eyes at me, I HAVE EXPERIENCED RAIN (in regards of the the popular joke that Californians haven't). However, I have to agree; after experiencing one of Michigan's thunderstorms (with my college's sirens blaring in the background), it comes to mind just how different "rain" is between the two states:

If you have been following me for a long time, then you know I write about two main things: relateable articles and communication media based articles. Now, it is time for me to combine the two. For those of you that don't know, I am a radio DJ at IUP, and I DJ for a show called BPM (Beats Per Minute). It is an EDM, or electronic dance music, based show and I absolutely love it.

6 Things Owning A Cat Has Taught Me

Owning a pet can get difficult and expensive. Sometimes, their vet bills cost hundreds of dollars just for one visit. On top of that, pets also need food, a wee wee pad for a dog, a litter box with litter for a cat, toys, and treats. Besides having to spend hundreds of dollars on them, they provide a great companion and are almost always there when you need to talk to someone. For the past six years, I have been the proud owner of my purebred Bengal cat named Spock. Although he's only seven years and four months old, he's taught me so much. Here's a few of the things that he has taught me.

You're Your Own Best Friend

It's fun to see all of the selfies on social media, they are everywhere. I see pictures with pouty lips, duck lips and pucker lips. I see smokey eyes, huge fake lashes and nicely done nose jobs, boob jobs and butt lifts. Women working out in spandex, tiny tops and flip flops. I see tight abs and firm butts, manicured nails and toes, up dos and flowing hair. "Wow", I think to myself," I could apply tons of make-up, spend an hour on my hair, pose all day and not look like that. Maybe I need a longer stick!"
