Halloween is over now and life seems so boring. After a month of watching nonstop Halloween movies, planning your costumes, and eating endless candy, what are you supposed to do?

You're looking forward to Halloween all year, it’s hard to let go. You know the post-Halloween blues are starting to set in and let you know it’s time to find something else to do with your life when these things happen:

You have to put away your decorations.

All of those really cool talking ghosts and zombies you got from Target have to be stored away until next year. It’s actually kind of painful to have to take down all of the lights and signs and throw away your awesomely carved pumpkin.

And your costume.

You worked so hard to come up with an awesome costume for this year. You spent weeks brainstorming and buying the materials, and crafting it so it’s just perfect. It’s a shame that you can only wear it for one day out of the year.

The TV channels have stopped playing Halloween movies.

All of your favorite Halloween movies are going to be on hold until next year. You've watched your favorite movies more times than you can count. There is still Netflix of course, but something about catching Hocus Pocus and It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown on TV makes it so much more special.

You get weird looks for singing “This Is Halloween.”

But “This Is Halloween” is literally the best song ever and you’ll sing it every day of the year and not care who reminds you that Halloween is over.

You drown your sorrows in Halloween candy.

The plus side to all of this is that there is still plenty of candy left over to engorge yourself with to chase away the realization that the best holiday of the year is now over. Not to mention there are going to be amazing sales on candy for the next few weeks to keep you distracted.

It's time to start thinking about Christmas.

The next thing on everyone’s mind is Christmas. It’s time for jingle bells, Christmas trees, and holiday cheer. But Halloween was just a few days ago and while you have a ton of Christmas decoration just waiting to come out, you want to dwell in the Halloween spirit for just a little bit longer.

It's going to be such a long wait until next year when we can finally be creepy without judgment again.
