Do real people actually look like this?

Minor cosmetic enhancements are all the rage right now (or I guess they always have been) and thanks to social media, we all feel like we need them. These are some of the most popular celebrity cosmetic enhancements that I've saw on nearly everyone in the last year. At first, all of these enhancements look a little crazy, but after you see them on every celebrity, you start to think that you might want them too. I mean, who doesn't want to wake up with a full face of makeup like they're the main character in a rom-com?

1. Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions can range anywhere from natural to cartoon character.

Eyelash extensions were by far one of the most popular celebrity cosmetic enhancements last year. So many people had them. I thought about getting them as well. The price point is pretty steep at around $150 for a first set and then about $70 per refill. Not to mention they can harm your natural lash.

2. Botox

Celebrities get botox to hide crows feet, smile lines and forehead wrinkles.

Botox used to look scary on everyone, but with better techniques, it kinda looks good.

3. Microblading

Microblading can be used to create a new brow, or to fill in sparse ones.

Microblading never really looks natural to me, but with such bold eyebrows in they don't look as crazy as they could.

4. Lip Fillers

Even a little bit of fillers added to lips makes a huge difference because its such a small area.

Lip filler = more room for lipstick.

5. Chin Implants

Chin implants are meant to balance the profile.

Any sort of implants really freak me out, but people have been getting chin implants to make their profile look better in photos.

6. Laser Liposuction

Laser lipo allows you to remove fat from more precise areas than traditional lipo.

I swear, some people are just born with a double chin. This is a semi-invasive way to remove it.

7. Hair Extensions

Extensions are a quick and easy way to change your hair style.

Hair extensions are one of the most popular celebrity cosmetic enhancements in style right now. It seems like everyone is walking around with 30-inch extensions!

8. Fat Transfer

You can literally move your fat from where you don't want it, to where you do.

Every wonder how everyone has such a slim waist compared to their hips? Well now you know, they just moved it.

9. Fake Nails

Getting your nails done can be pricey, but so worth it.

Honestly, fake nails are empowering.

10. Coolsculpting

Coolsculpting helps to get rid of stubborn fat by freezing it off.

Why not just kill the fat cells instead of taking them out.

11. Breast Augmentation

If everything else on your body is getting fixed up, I guess these should too.

The bigger the better. Obviously this was and still is one of the post popular celebrity cosmetic enhancements and I don't see this changing anytime soon.

12. Lip Tattoos

Lip tattoos let you change the tint of your lips using semi-permanent tattoo ink.

I think this is super cool, but also seems super unnecessary, why not just buy a stain or tint.

13. Rhinoplasty

Many people get surgery on their nose for breathing problems, but choose to shave off a little in the process.

Getting your nose done can make a huge difference in the whole appearance of your face, its kinda crazy!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
