Poetry On Odyssey: Lost In A World Trying To Waste My Years

What direction shall I go,
Somewhere bold with an aura of red,
Or a place of peace and free from all dread;
Does either place even exist,
Or is it just yet another blow?


There's a fork with signs bellowing solutions,
How would I know which to listen;
When there are faces that both laugh and glisten,
Would it be naïve to take their nurture to heart,
Living in such a world can make it fearful to start.


At last, it seems I have found my way,
Breaking free from the world's grasp and my silence,
Finally seeing the world for what it is, a zest pool of violence;
With everyone labeled as prey.
What direction shall I go to seek growth and combat my delay?
