The woman sits on her favorite park bench in a daze

As she looks at the cloudy sky in a gaze

Then she notices a couple holding hands

And she wants to know "Why can't I have that?"; she doesn't understand

Then the couple give one another a kiss

As they enjoy their walk in the park in pure bliss

The woman has a flash back of one of her horrible dates

And concludes that loneliness may be her fate

She is only in her twenties so she has time ahead

Why is she rushing dating, does she need to wed?

She then ponders about what love could be

If only she had a lover to hold and see

Her last couple dates didn't go so well

And her three ex-boyfriends weren't so swell

The dating apps she uses don't take her too far

She either gets ghosted or left at a bar

She swipes left and right for her perfect match

But they all seem too dull for her and not a good catch

She deletes the apps in a frustrated mood

It doesn't look like her prince charming will be appearing any time soon

She starts to walk home to get some rest

Hoping she wakes up better as she is facing some stress

She tries to sleep but she starts to cry

As she starts to feel lonely and wonders if she should still try

"Will I find myself a mate?" she asks in her head

After tear droplets falling she finally falls asleep in bed

She gets up in the morning to get ready for the day

Grabs her usual Starbucks and goes to work to make some pay

Her day, however, does not start off as good as she hoped

As she trips on the sidewalk with the coffee all over her coat

She puts down her purse right next to her on the ground

Someone snatches her bag quickly with very little sound

She yells for help as the man runs a far as she is too slow

He was able to get away with her things, and now she feels low

All are left are her books with her keys in her hand

She goes in her car and cries, trying to understand

She calls out of work while she sits in her car to cry

And doesn't feel like moving as she just doesn't want to try

As she is about to leave to go to the cops for help

Someone knocks on her window after giving her a yelp

She is hesitant to open as she doesn't know the man

But before she drives away he shows the purse in his hand

She opens up the window in a shock with her mouth open very large

As the man says "I got your purse back, I showed him who was in charge."

"I saw him take your purse and tackled him to the ground"

"The police arrested him as well, so don't worry, you are safe and sound."

She gets out of her car to thank the man that was brave and strong

Who was also good-looking and friendly overall

Fast forward three years, the man and woman married on the beach with the sunset

After he proposed to the woman, on the sidewalk outside her car where they met

Fast forward another year with a baby girl in their arms

Her husband says "I love you with all my heart, your beauty and charm"

He continues to say "You're my love and partner forever."

And he adds "I'm glad that crook brought us together."

Lastly, he asks "Are you happy my love?"

As she says "I am glad I waited, you are my everything and above."

"What do you mean "waited?"" He asks confused with a curious mind

She says "I always wanted to rush love, but I am glad I waited because you are one of a kind."

He smiles at her and then they head off to bed with affection

Giving goodnight kisses while saying "I'll love you forever," showing their lovable connection

The woman lays thinking with a smile while looking at her sleeping husband too

Then looks out the window to the sky and says "Thank you."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
