Here’s to 2018, the year that fashion finally understands that we need more fast fashion brands with more sizes than just up to size 6 or 8. I know there has always been Cato and Lane Bryant but that has not been enough. We are women. We want to be chic, sexy, classy, urban, athletic, dressy and comfy. We must have plenty of selection in our wardrobe and just one or two stores won’t suffice. Here’s a list of places that offer fashionable selections in a variety of sizes ranging from 10-36.

1. Maurices

Maurices is on-trend, fashionable and has good prices for the great quality items they offer on their website. Their sizes range from 1-26. This brand offers styles such as casual, work attire and nice ensembles for your girls night out. If you invite a friend to subscribe to their emails, you can receive twenty-five percent off one regular price item and get another ten dollar for store credit. Maurices is located at The Avenue, so be sure to check them out.

2. Torrid

Torrid, formerly owned by Hot Topic, serves plus-size fashion for sizes 10-30. This brand has the latest styles for any occasion, whether you have a party to go to or errands to run. They have jeans and tops and even cocktail dresses. Like Maurices, Torrid has cash discounts too. For every $50 you spend, you get $25 back in what they call, “Haute cash”, to spend at their store or online. Torrid is located at the Avenue, so you can try on pieces in the store instead of ordering online.

3. Addition Elle

Addition Elle dubbed their brand as a “fashion democracy” with sizes ranging from 12-26. This Canadian owned company has everything from sports and work apparel to casual wear and lingerie. They recently revamped their brand with models Ashley Graham and Jordyn Woods who both helped design new trendy, edgy and chic collections. Make sure to check out their website for the amazing sales they have going on right now.

4. Boohoo

Boohoo is an online fashion retailer that is based out of the U.K.. This high fashion retailer produces clothing in sizes 12-24. This business must be doing something right, because just last year Boohoo made over $4 million in sales.. If your closest consists of bodysuits, jean jackets, the hottest dresses and tops, then you need to check their website out. Also, model Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s best friend, has a collection with Boohoo. You need to check it out.

5. Fashion Nova

Fashion Nova, a brand we have all seen on Instagram, is the site to shop. Celebrities from Kylie Jenner to Baddie Winkle shop there, and the prices are incredibly affordable. The hot urban styles on Fashion Nova range in size from 1-24. The fact that you can shop at and afford a place that Kylie Jenner, Amber Rose, Cardi B and Baddie Winkle have all shopped at is reason enough to try this site.

6. Sorella Boutique

Sorella is a boutique based out of Los Angeles that has a range of sizes from extra small to extra large for tops and bottoms, and 24 to 36 for denim. This boutique is packed with everything from casual clothing and sweatsuits to chic dresses.. The styles are hot, current and hip. When I say ‘current’, I do mean it but I also mean vintage because that is all the rage right now. Their vibe is so cool and urban while still being sexy and chic. Sorella is centered around girls empowering each other with their “Girls Tour” collection, which is a really nice touch to the already popular brand. This is a boutique you can’t go wrong with.

7. Missguided

Missguided is another UK based retailer. Their sizes from 0-20. They offer a wide range of apparel from formal wear to denim skirts. Though this brand offers top quality pieces, they still managed to make their prices affordable. Makeup guru Carli Bybel has a collection with the fashion brand, and she’s incredibly stylish. So go check out their website for some fun, stylish pieces.. However, since the brand is based out of the UK, you’ll have to order online until Murfreesboro becomes cool enough to get a physical location.

8. Windsor

Windsor is the place to shop if you have a fancy event to attend like a red carpet affair, a christmas party or a military ball. They have a store in the Opry Mills mall. They have elegant dresses in sizes 1X to 3X, and their styles do not disappoint. Their selections accentuate curves and embrace all body types.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
