It has now come that time in the semester when we hit that glorious thing known as finals week, aka no sleep, yes I'm wearing the same outfit every day this week don't judge, dry shampoo is a staple, and you can't remember the last time you ate actual real and decent food but nonetheless, you are going to crush those finals like Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect crushes a cheesecake and show em who's the boss.

Here's your survival guide playlist for finals week:

25. Shout Out To My Ex : Little Mix

Why : Aside from this being the ultimate girl power post-breakup anthem from these lovely talented ladies, it's also the ultimate anthem to finish out the semester with. Out with the old and ready for the long break before the new semester starts.

24. Love Myself : Hailee Steinfeld

Why : This semester has been beyond crazy and more than you can handle. You've had those moments of self-doubt, contemplating if it is all worth it and if it'll even be worth it in the end but this song is the anthem for self-love that you should put on full blast while walking to class, on the way to your exams and even when working out.

23. Blank Space : Taylor Swift

Why : Aside from Blank Space being one of the catchiest pop tunes T-Swift has performed, this song also reminds us to put our names on the blank space when it comes test time! Totally joking, however, the song will help pump you up on your to your exam and help you forget any nervousness you might have.

22. Sorry : Justin Bieber

Why : Remember the few times you slept in and missed your 8 or 9 a.m. classes or skipped those afternoon lectures and now that you've seen the study guide and are missing critical notes, handouts, etc.. that are going to be essential to passing one final in particular. I have news for you, this is the song you'll be jamming out to while en route to that class. May the Biebs be with your prof while prepping that exam.

21. Here : Alessia Cara

Why : For those professor(s) who have finals at 8a.m. -- "Oh, Why am I here?" from students everywhere.

20. Sit Still, Look Pretty : Daya

Why : Like the first two songs on this list, this song is about female empowerment and gaining confidence an independent woman in today's' society. Yes, men are typically considered the breadwinners and generally outweigh favorite in the workplace, especially when it comes to promotions and raises. This song also doubles as a great single anthem and allows you to tell the world they can't change you.

19. The Climb : Miley Cyrus

Why : Remember this gem from a few years ago? This song was everywhere and every single time you heard it, you gave the ultimate car performance of your life. Even now when it comes on Pandora or Spotify, you can {s t i l l}sing every lyric by heart. This is the anthem for every freshman, sophomore, junior and especially senior at college and help you remember to stay strong during the rocky times that unexpectedly happen in life.

18. Rise : Katy Perry

Why : This was the 2016 Olympic anthem and there is no denying that Katy sounded just as powerful on this track as she had when "Roar" came out. This song wasn't just an anthem for athletes but for anyone struggling or feeling defeated. Finals week, without a doubt, makes all of us feel a little defeated. Whether it's losing sleep or ditching a fun activity with your friends, like going to the movies or out for Mexican, so you can cram study for that sociology exam.

17. Wake Me Up : Avicii

Why : Dedicated to your responsible and loving, non-terrifying alarm clock that helps wake you up so you don't miss class or your finals. Love you, mean it.

16. Pity Party : Melanie Martinez

Why : A refreshing take and twist on this classic song is sure to be your anthem while studying, pre-finals and definitely post final, packing, making that drive/trip back home and while waiting to see the grade afterward.

15. My Way : Calvin Harris

Why : This song basically sums your entire semester. Everything from long classes and longer nights, piles, if not mountains, of homework and papers. On more than one occasion, you have felt like you just got hit by a bag of bricks and now that the semester is at a close there's nothing standing in your way.

14. Fight Song : Rachel Platten

Why : To help get you in that fighting spirit first of all. Secondly, this song is the absolute best to blast during this time. It gives you more than just a feeling of hope but a feeling of someone cheering you and encouraging you which is more than you need to survive this hetic week.

13. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together : Taylor Swift

Why : Why not? You've been done with this semester since 1989.

12. You Don't Own Me : Grace feat. G-Eazy

Why : Your power anthem to let those finals know who's the boss/

11. Pompeii : Bastille

Why : "How am I going to be an optimist about this?" sums your feels about everything post finals.

10. Million Reasons : Lady Gaga

Why : Not only is this BEST post-breakup song to make you feel {A L L} the feels but also a way to say goodbye to a bittersweet semester. Was it always perfect and amazing? No. But maybe you found a person or a group of people who are more like family rather than friends and possibly better than those you had been hanging out with. Maybe you took a class or two that helped you more than you thought it would. Maybe you discovered what your true passion is and either declared your major (finally!) or switched it. Maybe it's hard to believe it's senior year and you're graduating here soon (either in December or May) and it's become unreal how close you are to adulting in the real world.

9. Let It Go : Idina Menzel

Why : Yes, that widely popular song that was every Disney fans rebellion anthem. Think of this song as your way of letting everything go without icing and causing an early snowstorm/winter. The student population and probably your professors will thank you later.

8. Girl On Fire : Alicia Keys

Why : It's time to release your inner Katniss Everdeen and slay these finals like it's the 75th Annual Hunger Games (and trust me, we all know those feels because we haven't eaten in..we don't even know when to be exact.)

7. Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) : Kelly Clarkson

Why : If this semester hasn't killed you, nothing will.

6. Hello : Adele

Why : "Hello, it's me. I just called to see if you canceled our final."

5. Sorry : Beyonce

Why : I didn't study and I ain't sorry. #NoRagrets

4. Mercy : Shawn Mendes

Why : The love song you sing while walking into your class and looking at the test for the first time or see your listed as first to present and hoping that everyone takes it easy on you.

3. The Greatest : Sia

Why : *forgets to study. too busy downloading Sia's album while dancing around the dorm*

2. Shake It Off : Taylor Swift

Why : Awkward dancing solves everything. Literally.

1. Run The World (Girls) : Beyonce

Why : Cause we do. That's why. Also, this more than likely every female senior(s) anthem.

Bonus :

Piece of Me : Britney Spears

Why : If Brit can survive 2007, then you can survive this week, this semester and every test/project you have.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
