Anyone who knows me knows that I love "Fixer Upper". I am one of the millions of people who are totally infatuated with Joanna Gaines' decor style and Chip's goofy attitude. This past March, I took a trip with my parents down to Texas. While there, we just had to head to Waco for all things "Fixer Upper"! So, why not put together a list of "must see's" for all other "Fixer Upper" fans?
1. Common Grounds Coffee Shop
If you've watched the show since the beginning, you know that Common Grounds is a local coffee shop in Waco. You'll also know that Chip and Joanna fixed up the house of the Common Grounds owners in one of the earlier seasons.
2. The Magnolia House
The Magnolia House is this cute little bed and breakfast that they fixed up in a previous season. What's even better is that you can stay there, too!
3. Clint Harp Design Co.
All fans know Clint as the go-to guy for anything wood related. He has made most of the tables on the show. You can visit his
If you're lucky, he just might be standing outside socializing. If you look right next door, you'll see the house that Chip and Joanna fixed for him, too!
4. Baylor University
Can you say "Baylor Bears"? All I can think about is the episode when Chip threw out the first ball at the Baylor Bears Baseball game! I definitely recommend seeing this beautiful campus!
5. The OG Magnolia Storefront
Located right on Bosque Boulevard, you can see where it all started! Unfortunately, there is nothing in the building, but you can still see the Magnolia sign on the storefront.
6. The Magnolia Table
Probably one of the cutest restaurants I have been to yet. This place is the epitome of Joanna Gaines' style. It's very rustic and country, but what makes it even better is the cooking! The Lavender Lemon Donut Holes are to die for!
7. Magnolia Silos
Last, but not least, the Silos are a MUST SEE. You can wait in line to get into their bakery (worth the wait!), or go right into their store and see all the "Fixer Upper" themed merchandise and home decor and do some shopping. If you need a bit of a break, hang out on the green while eating lunch and playing lawn games! There is so much to do there!
So there you have it! All the "Fixer Upper" places to see! I definitely recommend spending a day or two in Waco checking out all of these places! If you want, even take a drive around to see some of the houses they fixed up!
