1. Being a sucker for romance.

I’ll admit it, I’m an old school romantic. I love passionate gestures of love. Many Pisces love to feel special and wanted, but we also love to make our partners feel the same way!

2. Hearing “OMG, you’re such a Pisces!” all the time.

Yes, we understand, we are the literal embodiment of the Pisces characteristics. This doesn’t always define us, though!

3. Trying to balance all of your emotions at once.

Because we feel everything so deeply, it can get difficult to balance our emotions when they occur all at once.

4. Loving your friends and family so much.

Everyone loves their friends and family, but Pisces have a special way of loving. We keep our hearts open which allows us to get close to people quickly. Let’s be honest, the words “I just met you, but let’s be best friends!” is said way too often.

5. Tbh, sometimes we don’t even understand ourselves.

Pisces are a complicated people. It can be difficult at times to understand us because we don’t even understand what’s going on. But this also means there’s no way to put us in any kind of “box,” because there’s no box to put us in!

6. Taking things just a little too personally.

Sometimes we just have to remind ourselves to let some stuff slide.

7. Having a creative personality.

A lot of people think this means Pisces are artistic, but having a creative personality means so much more! Art, writing, poetry, problem-solving, and so many others are all parts of creativity. Pisces have a unique perspective on the world which can allow them to see things a different way. Let your perspective shine!

8. Needing some time away every once in a while.

While Pisces are super hardworking when they need to be, a huge part of the Pisces personality is escapism. Sometimes we just need a little alone where we can recharge and get our thoughts in order. It helps us to stay upbeat and not get overwhelmed!

9. Loving to help others.

As Pisces, we have a particular knack for helping others. Whether it be giving advice, helping solve a problem, or just being a shoulder to cry on, we are here for our friends and family.

10. Having a secret competitive side.

Not many people realize how competitive Pisces can be, especially when presented a challenge. We definitely should not be underestimated!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
