While I was running around Europe, I spent some time in Milan. The people, and particularly, the fashion were a nice breath of fresh air. Let's dig in to see what Milan has to offer our eyes!

Here you can see a nice cityscape from the top of the Duomo in Milan. The following four shots show more details of the Duomo that I shot, mainly with a wide angle lens.

The inside of the Duomo was also beautiful. It was a challenge to shoot, because of the low lighting, but again I was happy with the performance of my 20mm at f/1.4. Seriously, go buy this lens. The following three shots were all taken inside the Duomo chapel.

The last two shots were taken around the city after I left the Duomo. Of course, I had to get some shopping in!

Milan was really incredible, and I'm excited to go back! I was really happy about the photo ops that the Duomo offered, and the whole city had a really great energy that I would highly recommend experiencing if you ever get the chance. Until next time!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
