7 Phases Of Getting Ready For A Concert

One of my favorite things to do of all time is go to concerts. I have been to quite a few so I going to share with you of how I prepare for a concert in the summer time! Going to concerts is so much fun because you are in this crowd of strangers but one thing you have in common is for the love of music, concerts and the band or person that is about to perform. I really can not even begin to explain how I feel at concerts, I just get this feeling for happiness and chills going through my whole body. Other who have been to concerts can totally understand. So, if you are planning on going to your first concert soon try and follow my tips and phases to help you out!

Phase One: Month Before the Concert!

- Getting your ticket can be the easiest or most challenging thing in the world. If you are going to see a more popular band I would suggest getting your ticket as soon as they go on sale because tickets can sell out in 10 minutes flat then thats it (all depending on the venue).

- Make sure if it is your first time going get a buddy to go along so you aren’t by yourself. But don’t get me wrong while you are there waiting for the bands to play sometimes you end up making some pretty awesome friends!

- Figure out where the concert is and how you are getting there and if you plan to drink. If its close enough you could walk or even take an Uber or Lyft. If you need to drive to make just be careful and don’t drink at the concert. If you do drink make sure you have DD.

-Get pumped! It is so far away but it will come so fast!

Phase Two: Couple Weeks Before the Concert!

- Double check everything with your ticket and make sure you have it.

- Double check your plans with your friends or family that you are possibly going with.

- Make sure you call off work if you have not already.

- Start saving up some money for some merch! Getting merch can get expensive but they are some awesome suveniors!

- GET EVEN MORE PUMPED! Personally when it gets this close I listen to nothing but them and learn every lyric because I love to scream and sing the lyrics when they are playing!

Phase Three: Couple Days Before the Concert!

- Triple check your ticket and plans. It would be terrible if someone couldn't go and they were you ride. You would want to hurry up and try and figure something out ASAP.

- Get that money out of the bank. I usually take about $50 in cash with me just in case I want a shirt or something to drink.

- Think about what you are going to wear and look at the weather. If it is a summer concert make sure you are dress comfortably and breezy because being surrounded by all those people can get really hot and sticky. I usually wear a tank top with some short.

- Now get so excited because it is literally only a few days away!

Phase Four: The Night Before!

- Double check the weather again. Plan your outfit!

- Pack your bag if you are taking one. I usually do not like to take one because it can just get in the way. But if you do take a backpack with your wallet, phone, portable phone charger and anything else you might need. I just take my cash, ID, and phone. I usually don't need anything else.

- Make sure get everything ready for the next day. You don't want forget anything like your ticket!

- Jam out to the music and get pumped!

- Most important get some rest!

Phase Five: THE DAY!

- It's the day you are have been waiting for!

- Check on your ticket when the doors open. I would arrive maybe an hour early or so depending on the venue.

- Drink plenty of water and take water so you don't get dehydrated. Especially at summer concerts this is such a common thing.

- Make sure your phone is charged you don't want to miss anything!

- Double check your bag if you are taking one.

- On your way to the concert jam out and get excited!

Phase Six: YOU ARE THERE!

- GET PUMPED, HAVE FUN AND STAY SAFE!

- Don't forget to drink water.

- If there is a mosh pit go have fun and get in there. Crowd surf! You will not regret it!

- Sing until you can not sing no more!

Phase Seven: Recovery

- Take a nice long shower, relax, take some Advil if you need it and just remember what just happened to you!

- Make sure get some rest and rest your voice if you lost it!

I hope you guys enjoyed my phases! This is what I usually do. I am going to g0 see Twenty One Pilots and The Blink-182 tour too so you guys will be hearing about those soon! Happy Memorial Day Everyone!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
