College can be one of the most eventful periods in a person's life. It is a time where you are going through so many changes in your life and it seems like you have no stability whatsoever. There are some moments, however that most college students are bound to face in their college careers.

1. "Oh My God, College!"

Getting to college on the first day is probably one of the most exciting feelings ever. You are on your own for the first time in your life and you basically have all the freedom in the world. Everyone around you is so eager to meet people and make friends, so it looks like you will have no problem making friends. This goes on for a few weeks as you find your way around and go to events on campus to meet everyone you can.

2. "I want to Transfer!"

There comes a point in the first semester where the high of being in college finally wears off and you think everything is not going your way. It seems like you have no friends and you are going to be alone for the rest of the semester. You feel that the school is not for you and that you should transfer and proceed to call your mom to figure it out with her, but if you stick it out in the long run, you will realize that things get better.

3. "I'm tired, broke and hungry"

You have no money, you are running out of your meal plan and you haven't slept in days. This point in college is a struggle. You don't know how your life is going to pan out, so you just hope for the best and try and make that ramen last as long as you can

4. "The work will never end!!!"

Finals week is a dreaded time where you feel you can actually drown in work. There are so many papers you have to work on and exams you need to study for that are all within a three-day time span. Your stress levels are going through the roof and you don't know if you'll actually survive the onslaught of work you are facing.

5. "I'm actually enjoying this"

There comes a point in college when everything starts to come together. You finally find a good group of people, you have somewhat of a handle on your work and you are actually having fun. You start going out with friends more often, and you feel like you are on top of the world and you have finally figured out how to do this whole "college" thing.

6. "AHHHHH! REAL WORLD!!!"

There comes a time in college everyone wants to know what you are doing with your life after college. You have to worry about internships, jobs, resumes and basically how to be a fully functioning adult in a matter of months. This time is usually spent staying up late worrying about your future and contemplating dropping out and becoming an [insert questionable occupation here].

7. "I don't want to leave..."

Lastly, you come to a point in your college career when you realize things are ending. Graduation will loom over the horizon and you know that things will change soon. You realize that one day you won't be hanging out with the same friends anymore and everyone is going off to do their own things.

College may have been an emotional roller coaster going at 200 mph, but it has also been some of the best and most memorable years years of your life and you never want it to end.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
