Now that it's December, Christmas is going to creep up on all of us very quickly. With this said, the time to buy gifts is now. Now it may be super easy for you to pick out the perfect gift for each person on your list. Sometimes, however, the people we want to give gifts to don't make it easy. They may be very picky, or be the exact opposite and say, "just get me anything!" Both of these are equally frustrating to have to deal with. Now of course you can just take a trip to the mall and pick out the first thing you see, but this year, try something new.

Etsy has been my go-to for Christmas shopping for two years now. You can find basically anything you will ever need. You can also get things items that are personalized, collectors editions, and simply things you can't find anywhere else. If you are looking for something that might mean a little bit more, here are eight things on Etsy that make great gifts for everyone on your list!

1. For the nerd

Whether they love science, spend all their free time playing video games, or have a library in their house, it is certain that you will find something on Etsy. By simply tying in "nerd gifts" you get page after page of t-shirts, coffee mugs, posters, and jewelry. 2. For the beauty guru

3. For the athlete

No matter if they play sports or just love watching them, you will be able to find something for them. Personalized jewelry, whistles, headbands, and water bottles are the most popular on Etsy. These items will add some extra thought to the gift by adding the person's name, sport jersey number, or inspiring quote.

4. For the writer

If you know a writer, you probably also know they can't get through the day without multiple cups of coffee. No matter what personality you are shopping for this Christmas, Etsy will have something unique and exciting waiting for you. My one piece of advice would be to order as early as possible. Sometime items can take one to two weeks to arrive and you wouldn't want to give that special someone their Chrsitmas present after Chrsitmas.
