Your Personal Chicago Donut Crawl

If you're looking to get out of Evanston for a sweet treat, take a look at the donut crawl that I have created for you!

Here are the five places with the best donuts in Chicago. You can pick and choose which ones you want to visit or go to each one!

939 W Armitage Ave

The famous Glazed & Confused should be your first stop on this donut adventure. Their yummy donuts are a must-have before you get too full, so it's worth the travel.

2800 N Clark St

Next stop is Stan's Donuts. This super stylish spot across the street from a popular concert venue has gourmet donuts, gelato, and coffee drinks brewed from Intelligentsia beans (the best beans).

68 W Hubbard St

Firecakes calls their donuts "artisanal." You be the judge on our 3rd stop of the crawl. The donut and gelato sandwich is the number one must-have here and, honestly, where else would you ever find that?

233 E Erie St

Do-rite is one of the only places where you can get gourmet donuts and fried chicken at the same time. One of the reviewers even said that the donuts, "Nearly restored my faith in God."

401 N Franklin St

Last, but not least, is the Doughnut Vault. It's the home of the simple, old-style doughnuts that got our grandparents hooked on sugar. They are a tiny bakery selling a handful of donut choices each day until the stock runs out.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
