If you are at a point in your life where you are not quite sure what to do next or where in your life you should be, this article is for you. This is a pep talk to not only motivate you, but prove that everyone has potential to be who and what they want to be in life.

There are going to be plenty of moments in your life where you feel completely stuck or like there is a massive boulder in your way, placing a barrier between you and your goals. There are going to be days where nothing seems to be going the way you planned or how you had anticipated. And trust me, after a while, these type of days can have a huge impact on your self-esteem, determination, and the way you go about your life.

But, just know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is hope at the bottom of the well. Whatever metaphor you want to use, just know that things will get better with a little determination, persistence, and perseverance.

Life is full of opportunities and obstacles, and sometimes we have to overcome the obstacles to reach the opportunities that are just around the corner. With hard work and determination you can achieve anything and pursue all of the opportunities life has to offer (even if there are obstacles trying to stop you).

It's time to put aside all of your doubts and ignore that little voice inside your head telling you that you simply cannot do something. Because, believe me, you can. Wake up in a determined mindset, and go out into the world and do whatever it is that you want to accomplish; ultimately, it is your life and you have the final say about how you are going to live it.

After all, life is too short to live with regrets and "what if" thoughts.

If you are stuck in a rut and what to change the way you are living your life and want to start pursuing your passions, put down the electronics, pause that Netflix episode, go out and live the amazing life you deserve.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
