Potatoes are a staple for Thanksgiving feasts in many households—and one of my favorite foods. They come in many forms and recipes—fries, baked, garlic, and so on. You can add many things to them—corn, gravy, salt, and so forth. However, what most people do not know is that humans are potatoes—literally.
We are all potatoes.
You are a potato.
I am a potato.
We may have different skin colors,
But when you peel that layer off
We are all the same on the inside.
We are all potatoes.
We all come from the same dirt.
We are all potatoes.
And we all have the potential to grow
Into a crisp, golden curly fry,
Or a potato chip
Or a baked potato
Or hash browns
Or potato skins
Or roasted potatoes
Or a waffle fry
Or a regular French fry
Or any kind of potato that we want to be.
And one day
We will blossom into a golden French fry.
(Or any kind of potato you want to be.)
And we will find our one true waffle fry.(Or any kind of potato we want to be with.)
We are all potatoes.
