Niall Horan has always been, and will always be, one of the greatest human beings I've had the pleasure of fangirling over.

People Are Finally Realizing How Great Niall Horan Is, And I'm Here For It

I've been a fan of One Direction since the release of their first album and I remember the first time I ever saw them, my eyes went straight to the beautiful Niall Horan. I said to my best friend, "He's my favorite. He's Irish, He's blonde and adorable." She replied, "Him? No, ewww, he's ugly! I like Harry!" That was the beginning of a passion for me. As the band gained popularity, so did Harry. Everyone loved him, and there's nothing wrong with that except that people often acted as though he was the only one in the band and said he was the only one with talent. Going by the music they have all released since Zayn left and the rest of the boys decided to take their "hiatus", I'd say they all have a lot of talent. More than that, they're passionate about what they are doing, and that's all anyone can ask for.

Now let's talk about each of the members so you understand that they are ALL important and deserving of love.

First, Harry. Yes, he is everyone's favorite. Yes, I love Harry too. His album is excellent and maybe I'll go see him when he comes to Minneapolis. But, he has always been well known and praised, so it's time to move on.

Second, Zayn. Our beloved Zayn left One Direction earlier than the boys decided to take a break, but he still deserves praise. He was another favorite, and I don't need to wonder why. Have you seen him? (I mean, have you seen all of them, but especially Zayn?) He has continued to produce amazing music since he left One Direction, and I truly hope he is happy doing what he's doing. I also hope he has patched things up with everyone and things are good. Enough praise for him, he also gets plenty.

Third, Liam. Liam was yet another favorite and people said he had too much talent to be in the group. The solo music he has released has been great, and I can't wait to hear what else he has in store! Also, his baby is named Bear, and if that isn't adorable I don't know what is. I think that's enough compliments for him.

Now, Louis. Louis is with Niall in that the fans appreciated him but most people didn't. Louis and Niall were constantly forgotten and underestimated. While Louis has not been releasing music quite as much as the others, he deserves praise too. He was an integral part of One Direction and I don't know where half the fanbase would be without him.

Anyway, back to Niall. He dropped an album on the 20th -- was I the only one who thought it was incredibly unexpected? And, he is brunette in one of the music videos!! Do you know how long I have waited for him to go back to brunette? I mean, sure there are pictures out there, but this is the real deal and I couldn't be more excited. You can listen to it on Spotify or buy it at Target!

So there's a lot going on with Niall and we should all be proud of him and continue to support him and all the boys equally because they all deserve our love and support.

This has been a PSA. Thank you for tuning in.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
