If you are a writer then you exactly know what William was talking about. Being a writer means writing your heart out without any barrier. However, there are people who don’t prefer to adopt writing passion as their career. Have you ever asked yourself what if I pursue writing as my profession? Or should I start writing for a living? Well, if you are one of them then you must definitely check out the following reasons why you should pursue a writing career.

Everything is in your hand. Well, I am not saying that the world is in your hand and you become a God. But, when you pursue this passion, you become the creator – the creator of your words, the creator of any character, the creator of any situation, and so on. In fact, when you are writing a screenplay or studio notes, you are the one who has the hold and he can create any concept, character or story.

You can play with words. Everybody writes but only a few have the art to play with words. If you are the kind of person who can write very well then you should definitely pursue writing profession. By playing with words, you can create any world, any situation, or any scenario. More than that, you are also able to convey a positive message or help people with your words. In short, it all starts with YOU.

Your passion becomes your profession. Of course, we can’t live only with our passion, we all need to do something for a living. How about earning money from your passion? Today, there are many organizations who need good writers for high-quality writing services. There is no better feeling than earning income from your passion.

The first time I wrote and got paid for it, it was an overwhelming feeling.

Turn your fantasies into realities. We all have an imaginary world and lots of fantasies. When you write, you can make your fantasies, realities. If you ever wondered what it would like to be a spy, soldier, doctor or astronaut. You can get to know with some good research and your great writing skills.

You can change lives. There are days when people lose hope, your amazing piece of writing can be the light in someone’s dark world. As we are living in the world of digitalization, it is easier to give meaning to the world and helping people through your words. There are numerous famous bloggers and writers who have changed people’s lives with their mesmerizing and charismatic words. If they can then why can’t you?

You get to know yourself better when you keep writing, it helps you explore yourself in a deeper way. Also, you get to know about your negativities and learn to accept them. The writing itself allows you to explore and become a better person than yesterday. In fact, you also get a better perspective of people as well as life.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
