Panic! At The Disco has been rocking the music scene for over a decade. With smudged black eyeliner, straight hair and ruffled suits, they stole our hearts with their first studio album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out featuring the anthemic "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." A few eras later, Brendon Urie is the only member of the band, and he is still stealing hearts with his gold suits, perfectly combed hair, and his live streams on Periscope. With the release of their new album Death Of A Bachelor, Panic! At The Disco climbed their way to become the best current rock band.
Here are a few things you need to know about Panic! At The Disco before we take a look back at all of their different eras. Panic! At The Disco's very first concert was at a Mormon church and were required to wear suits in the church; wearing suits to their concerts and photo shoots is one element that has lasted throughout all of the eras. Another thing to note is that Brendon Urie is the only member of Panic! At The Disco, but has loyal touring members that fans consider are apart of the band.
1. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
Their first album was very theatrical. Every song will make you get up and dance! As you can see, the dancers are wearing burlesque outfits, while Brendon Urie wears an old suit with doll-like make-up. If there was one word to sum up this era, it would be: guyliner.
2. Pretty. Odd.
A complete 180 from their first album, this era speaks for itself. Their outfits and sound evolved into the epitome of hipster. Listening to this album makes you want to frolic around grassy hills. The sudden sound change is what made Jon Walker and Ryan Ross (the two on the left) leave the band at the end of this era.
3. Vices & Virtues
Still looking very hipster, these two sport the fluffy bow tie and Victorian suits. Their sound seems to change from happy-go-lucky into a darker and more cynical sound. One word to describe this era would be: Baroque
4. Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!
This album seems to be the most different than all of the others. This is the first album Brendon releases as a married man. You can really see how his appearance has matured. The sound is very electronic, with synths and more of a modern pop feel.
5. Death Of A Bachelor
