If You Want To Create A Long-Lasting Impression, Be Truly Original

Being original is a trait that has gone through its share of ups and downs many times. So what exactly does being original mean? In my opinion, being original is when a person stays true to him or herself under the extremest circumstances. Being original refers to a person's unshakeable self-confidence when it comes to expressing their talents and interests.

For instance, there is no benefit in mimicking another person when it comes to their body language, behavior, voice, or even appearance. This type of mimicry will just end up showcasing your cowardice and how scared you really are in further revamping yourself. You wouldn't want to not effectively use your innate creative license just for the sake of showing-off! In other words, everyone should begin introducing their ideas, talents, and interests from a slightly unique angle. We wouldn't want to be part of a world that is more similar than diverse!

Currently, the world is lacking the taste of originality because most people are more inclined towards remodeling the actions of others. In pop culture, many music videos are now remixes taking and remodeling the lyrics and background score from a former popular musical composition. This is something that further adds to the fact that we are all attracted to the works of others becoming more appealing as opposed to working diligently towards bringing out the best in us. We are the future and the world will benefit magnificently from what we attribute thus increasing the amount of vibrant diversity in the world. When you drift away from portraying yourself in the truest light possible, you are actually disrespecting yourself and your talents. Strive to impress the world with your personality in order to create that larger than life first impression.

This will come in handy when you are preparing for the potential job interviews which could ultimately pave the gateway towards your dream job. Let's be real, you wouldn't want to miss out on awesome job opportunities just because you couldn't showcase your eye-catching personality. Indeed, being true and original takes you way far in life than you may ever expect.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
