To the Families of Victims of Police Brutality,

I support you. These are trying times and though the life of your loved one has ended, your fight with grief and the legal system has just begun. Again, I support you. I don't what it feels like to lose a loved one at the hands of law enforcement, and I pray I never have those feelings. No amount of apologies will ever replace the smile or laugh that was once so familiar of your loved one. We live in a system that continually fails to treat all citizens as equals. I'm sorry that your family has to cope with images and videos of your loved ones' being murdered in cold blood. A hashtag will never bring them back, but their legacy will continue. I among many others are tired of waking up to Twitter, Facebook, and the news to see another name attached to the headline "fatally shot by police". I am fighting for you. I am fighting for our people. And, I am fighting for justice. #blacklivesmatter
