To my witty, intelligent, all-around awesome little sister,
Throughout our lives, you’ve been there for me through it all and have been my biggest fan, even when I wasn’t even a fan of myself. Sometimes I feel like we take each other for granted, but at the end of the day I couldn’t be prouder to call you my little sister.
I admire how intelligent you are, even when you don’t see it. I wish I had the same work ethic that you do when it comes to school work. You’re dedicated and give 110 percent to anything thrown your way. You should know that you’re one of the most brilliant people I know and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish.
I admire your strength and bravery in just about any situation. We’ve tackled most of life’s obstacles together and I always thought I would have to be there to pick you up when you fell down, but you surprised me with how brave and strong you were and still continue to be.
I admire how outrageously funny you are and how you have the ability to light up any room you walk into. Your sarcasm and jokes are one in a million and your ability to impersonate just about everybody seizes to amaze me every day.
I admire how competitive you are, which you got from me. It always made playing video games and board games fun because no one was guaranteed the winner, even though I can still demolish you in Mario Kart and Guitar Hero.
I admire your sense of style because it means I have double the amount of clothes. One of my favorite parts of coming home from school during winter break is to wear all the clothes I haven’t been able to wear all semester.
Even though you’re the younger one, I still look up to you, literally, in more ways than you probably even know. I will continue to support you in everything you do and will always be your biggest fan, just as you will be mine. You make me want to be the best big sister, even though I’ve probably been pretty crumby in some circumstances. I love how you have the ability to voice your opinion and stand up for what you believe in, even if you’re the only one standing.
Thanks for always making me laugh, sometimes until I cry, for always understanding me, and standing by me, even when I probably didn’t deserve to have anyone there. Thanks for making my life 100 percent better. I thank Mom and Dad every day for giving me my best friend, my shoulder to cry on, my go-to, my other half.
Loved you once, love you still, always have and always will.
Love always,
Your big sister.
