To my future, Christian husband,

I know you are already out there, praying for me as your wife. I don't know who you are just yet, but I know you are out there and that we will meet one day. So here's to you.

Thank you for pressing into God to find me instead of hoping to find me at Alpha-whatever's fraternity party. Thank you for turning to the Bible and not Playboy when you need reaffirmation of our future relationship. Thank you for understanding that not every day will be perfect. Our relationship will come with some conflict. What good relationship doesn't? Thank you for solving problems with me in a way that best serves Him.

As your future wife, I have high expectations.God gave me these expectations in order to find a man like yourself. Thank you for communicating how you feel and what you want respectfully. Thank you for making me feel like a princess each and every day. Thank you for encouraging me in everything I do, even when I don't feel worthy. You not only remind me that I am yours, but that I am, more importantly, His.

Lastly, thank you for keeping God in the nucleus of our relationship. Thank your understanding that boyfriends don't get husband privileges. Thank you for being on the same page as me. Thank you for not pressuring me to do anything I don't want to do. In the end, you knew that God wouldn't allow anything to happen that would dampen our relationship and our growth in Him. Thank you for loving God more than me. Thank you for choosing me.

So, until we meet, keep these things in mind: you won't find me at Theta-something's fraternity party. Instead, you'll find me in a church pew on Sunday mornings. Look for the girl with her Bible open, soaking up every word the pastor says. Look for the girl who isn't perfect. and know's she doesn't need to be because she is a daughter of the one true king. I'll be looking for you, too.

Love,

Your future, Christian wife

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
