To the seniors,
Starting at day one, you have made me feel welcomed into college: from fellow writers to a Cappella singers, sorority sisters to classmates, you have been amazing friends and role models.
The first day moving into college, my PiChi (mentor that helps during Greek rush), hauled my 50-pound bags into my room with no complaints. Her bright lipstick and long, blonde braids could make any nervous student and sad parent happy that day. Any question we had, any box we had to move, she was there to help. Little did I know she would eventually become my best friend, sorority sister, fellow a Cappella singer and co-worker.
We may be a few years apart once you graduate and leave, but there hasn't been a day where you have made me feel like I have a number of years on Earth and credit hours as you. You've shown me the ropes, but you haven't made me feel inferior to you on the way. You've given me advice about how to approach professors, how to address boy issues and where the best place to get a midnight snack is.
I think it is safe to say that each of the others in the class of 2020 respect for you. We all have seniors they look up to in clubs, on teams and in classes. We hope that your endeavors after college are as great as you. We know we you will be successful in anything that you do. Please visit us when you can, especially if you are going far away.
Good luck, Class of 2017! We love you!
Sincerely,
The Class of 2020
