One of the best parts of my childhood was coming home after school and playing with my dogs. They were always there when I got home waiting for me with wagging tails and bright eyes. "Man's best friend" is so true becauseIi've never loved someone more than my dog.

Dear "man's best friend",

Thank you so much for everything. This may seem crazy that I'm writing you, my dog, a letter, but I could honestly care less. You've grown up as I've grown up and you are just like another sibling to me. No one every quite heals my broken heart like you do with your doggy cuddles and unwanted face licks. You are always there to greet me when I get home with a friendly tail-wag and bark. Playing fetch is the highlight of my day, and cuddling with you while watching movies is the best. You are more than just a pet, you are a close family member and friend.

Humans can be cruel to each other, so this may just be why you are my real best friend. Thank you for never giving up on me. I'll never give up on you/
