Hi all! Congratulations, you made it to your senior year! I'm guessing that you would never make it? Neither did I and I'm a freshman in college. You did it and now you get to start the career and pretty much the rest of your life.

I know that you have been looking forward to graduation, the big ceremony, the open house party and the checks that come with it. Trust me, its a great time, you get to see family, spend time with friends and you get to wear the fancy robe and hat. Then you get to sit and listen to a bunch of people talk for a little bit, then you get to walk across that stage as your name is called and you get your diploma and now your graduated! Yay!

Now your feeling, what am I gonna do now? Well, now you go to college. Your all excited, you get to go out on your own, live in a dorm, meet new people. Your so excited, until you get there and mom and dad leave to go home and your just sitting there unsure of what to do now. It can be kind of scary at first. You'll figure it out and get the hang of things. I promise.

Now that your there, it can be hard at first. Forcing yourself to get up and go to class cause you have to, doing your homework and knowing when you have to stay in and study instead of going out with people in your dorm. I had the most trouble with getting up and going to class, I had to take some 8am classes because of my work schedule, and it sucked. Like real bad but I had to make myself get up at the butt crack of dawn and get ready to go to class.

Also don't be afraid to get involved, get involved with clubs, don't be so focused on classes, if you do that then you'll miss out on the greatest memories of your life. Also it will stress you out beyond belief and make you have a mental breakdown. Trust me, I've had a few. But its all worth it in the end. I love being in college, I get to make my own schedule and pretty much do what I want to. College is a great experience. You grow up a little bit more everyday and come into your own. College can be the big bad wolf sometimes but it can also be your best friend. You find out a lot about yourself and the world around you. Go out and live, love, and make the memories that will last a lifetime. Be the person that you want to be.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
