Only Read This If You Don't Care About Finals

I am writing this for my classmates, and just generally all students, out there studying for finals. I know the next week and a half is going to be stressful and full of late nights, dozens of cups of coffee, and dreams of winter break. In this article I am going to tell and show you things that will distract you from the stress, at least for five minutes. So here we go…

Look at this gif of a puppy dressed as bear on a treadmill!

Watch this video of a girl reading Ashton Kutcher fan fiction for her 7th-grade talent show. (Warning, do not watch in the library, you will be cracking up... or do watch it in the library, your call.)

Read this fantastic(ly accurate) haiku about finals.

You guys might hate me for this, but here’s a link to Netflix

(Hopefully this distracted some of my classmates and will help the curve)

Listen/watch to the What Do You Mean music video. It’ll make you wish you were partying with Justin rather than being in the library.

Are you in need of some motivational words from a really attractive guy?

Watch the Kim Kardashian story as told by Parks and Recreation.

Go Christmas shopping for your mom because nothing says thank you for paying my tuition so I can die during finals week like new Cuisinart kitchen appliance.

A motivational vine to make you feel better about finals!

If you like koalas, this site is for you. As you scroll over circles, they will get smaller and smaller until a picture of a koala is revealed. Super cute!

And finally, here’s a picture of what it looks like outside because you probably haven’t been in a while.

With that I will wish everyone good luck on their finals and I hope you made it past the Netflix link, I’m sure I wouldn’t have.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
