6 Places I Would Love To Go To If Money Wasn't An Object

Anyone who knows me, knows that travelling is one of my most favorite things to do. From a trip to the beach to a simple drive to the grocery store, I love anything that has to do with going somewhere. As much as I love to travel, it is unfortunately an expensive hobby, and I don't get to do it nearly as much as I would like to. I want to share with you the top 6 places I would definitely be travelling to is money wasn't an object to me.

6. New England

Although I am quite aware that New England isn't only one state, but is actually a cluster of many different states such as Delaware, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, etc. It has been on my travel bucket list since I was a child. I am entranced by the area's rich history and beauty, especially during the autumn season.

5. Texas, Arizona, New Mexico

I have a huge desire to travel the American southwest one day, and these would be the three states I would have to make a stop in. Not only would the deserts and canyons give spectacular views, but I would also love the history behind the area. I would totally love to be able to channel my inner cowgirl.

4. Las Vegas, Nevada

Here I go again with wanting to quench my desire to travel westward. Aside of course from the gambling and who knows what else happens in Sin City, I would love to go to Viva Las Vegas someday. I honestly don't know what I find to be so great about the place, its just somewhere that I've always wanted to go to.

3. Provo, Utah

"There's a feeling in the air, that you can't get anywhere except in Utah....." One of my travel goals is to venture out to Utah- specifically the city of Provo. I would want to see Brigham Young University, attend a Mormon Tabernacle church service, and of course, meet the Osmonds!

2. California

I mean, honestly, who WOULDN'T want to go to California?! From Hollywood to the Redwood Forest, to Monterey Bay and Disneyland, Californ-i-a is certainly a dream destination for everyone.

1. Hawaii

I am almost ashamed of how cliché and stereotypical my #1 travel destination is. But if I'm being totally honest here, I must say that my dream vacation would have to be Hawaii, the Aloha State. For one thing, its in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so it would be surrounded by a beach. Also, from all the pictures that I've seen, it is absolutely GORGEOUS.

So as you can see from reading this, I have an obvious fetish for travelling westward. If money was no object to you, where would YOU want to travel?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
