If Ohio Colleges Were "One Tree Hill" Characters

Have you ever wondered what "One Tree Hill" character best represents your school or the ideals and values that you have? You haven't? Well, here's a list anyway. Take a look and see which character is most like your school!

Bowling Green State University - Jamie Scott

Jamie Scott is one of the most adorable characters to ever grace the television screen. He's sassy, he's well spoken, and he knows how to have a good time. He also has so much insight into the way that the world works and has a heart that can overcome any obstacle. BGSU students also have the same lovable quality about them. They are strong-willed and mature for their ages. Also, everybody thinks that they're the cutest.

Kent State University - Peyton Sawyer

Peyton is hardcore and edgy, much like the students at Kent State. On the other hand, she most definitely has a soft side, which is why she's so relatable and lovable. She falls hard for the people in her life and will always put her whole heart into everything that she does. She has also gone through a lot of traumatic experiences and come out of the other side stronger. The students at Kent are hardcore and they fall hard, always putting their whole selves into everything that they do. Not letting the small stuff get them down, they come out of the other side stronger just like Peyton.

Ohio University - Brooke Davis

Brooke Davis knows how to party, but she also knows when to buckle down and get things done. She is known to throw herself into everything that she does with 100 percent. She has a bit of an attitude, but that's just because she knows what she wants and she's not going to take no for an answer. OU students can party hard, but also end up getting out of college in four years with a pretty solid GPA, much like Brooke Davis.

The Ohio State University - Nathan Scott

Ohio State University students are competitive, known for their achievements, and often put on a pedestal. Nathan Scott and the students at OSU work hard to get to where they are and people think very highly of them. They know when to have a good time, but they also know when they need to grow up and step up to the challenges of life.

University of Cincinnati - Chris Keller

Chris Keller is one of those characters who you tried to hate, but ended up falling head over heels for. He's pretty self-centered and he came out of nowhere as the underdog who stole your heart. Cincinnati students are often passed over, but just wait. They're the underdogs who you should start rooting for. They also think pretty highly of themselves.

Miami University - Quinn James

Quinn is quirky, artistic, and passionate. She is known to take a stand for herself and those who she loves no matter what. Miami University students are known to stand up for themselves, they are passionate, and they will work hard to get to where they want to be.

University of Akron - Lucas Scott

Lucas Scott has one of the best hearts out of all the characters. Not literally, of course, since he has that whole heart problem going on, but you know what I mean. Akron students put their whole heart into everything that they do and never give up, no matter the circumstances.

Case Western Reserve University - Mouth McFadden

Mouth is awesome. He knows what he wants and, despite the constant downfalls that he faces, he never gives up. He fights for his jobs, his girls, and his friends. He stands up for others, even if they wouldn't do the same for him. CWRU students have that same kind of moxie.

Wright State University - Millie Huxtable

Millicent is a whirlwind of dedication and motivation. She is helpful, kind, and has overcome hardships. That's what the students at Wright State have going for them as well. They are helpful, they are kind, and they are dedicated to being the best that they can be. Even if they fall to temptation sometimes, they always find their way back.

University of Toledo - Dan Scott

Dan Scott is power hungry, dedicated, and hell-bent on getting his way. Toledo students have the same kind of dedication as Dan Scott (minus the murder and corruption). They want the best for the people who they care about and they refuse to accept defeat.

University of Dayton - Whitey Durham

Whitey is the old soul of the cast. He's the one who gives the best advice and remains level-headed no matter the situation. UofD students have the same level-headedness. They are the cool heads in the storm and they can see the big picture in every situation.

Youngstown State University - Alex Dupre

She's wild, carefree, and tactless, but, at the same time, Alex was the person who taught us to keep fighting. No matter the situation, keep fighting. YSU students are fighters. They are hard-headed and never take no for an answer.

Oberlin College- Haley James Scott

The musical, the talented, and the passionate Haley James Scott is a beautiful person inside and out. Oberlin students are passionate and talented, musically and otherwise. They let their emotions lead them around, always fighting for what they believe in and standing up for what's right.

University of Findlay - Karen Roe

She's the voice of reason and the motherly figure. She's the one who acts as the devil's advocate. Findlay students are often timid and careful when making big decisions, but that's because they can calmly assess each situation and make a conscious choice to better themselves and those around them. You also may be a little behind on the times, but it's charming.

Balwdin Wallace University - Keith Scott

Keith was the most gentle person on the show. He had his moments, usually when prompted by his brother, but most of the time he was a kind man who let his heart lead the way. Balwdin Wallace students are kind, gentle, and listen to their hearts. They are trusting and will always find the best in people.

Ohio Northern University - Antwon "Skills" Taylor

Athletic, hilarious, and even a bit quirky, Skills was the comic relief who turned into a legitimate character. He is a contender for the "best friend," he's always there for their friends, and he's always around when people need a shoulder to cry on. ONU students are ruthless when it comes to competition, but when someone threatens their friends, they are always there to put an end to that.

Ashland University - Clay Evans

Clay is the kind of guy who is all business until someone makes things personal. Even then, he remains level-headed while still being a weird dude. Ashland students are extremely useful in a stressful situation. They are strong-willed and passionate about the work that they're doing, even if they are a little odd.

Cleveland State University - Julian Baker

Julian is like a very big city stuck in a small town. He has big dreams, knows what he wants out of life, and will go through hell and back to make those things happen. He might be a little quirky and have a short attention span, but he sure does try. CSU students are devoted. They have big dreams and they are willing to do whatever it takes to make their lives the way they that they want them.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
