It’s almost here. After a decade of painstaking world building, we are finally here. That’s right I’m talking about the movie event of a generation and the most ambitious crossover event ever attempted: Infinity War.

From the first Iron Man to Black Panther and everything in-between, the meticulously crafted cinematic universe Disney has led us to its most important event yet. Here, the Avengers must face off against the apocalyptic Thanos, prevent him from acquiring the powerful infinity stones, and stave off Armageddon.

With such an event like Infinity War the fans from all walks of life are exclaiming their theories about what will happen to our beloved heroes. Theories that are swirling around the internet like a maelstrom of nerdiness, and being a superhero fan I certainly have one of my own:

Everyone but Iron Man and Doctor Strange will die.

Yup. I am fully expecting to see some of my favorite heroes die brutal deaths. Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, etc.… all bite the dust, and not just because I heard it happened in the comics.

First off, Infinity War is more accurately described as the beginning of the culmination. Disney has (smartly) omitted the fact Infinity War is really a “part one” movie. Meaning it will definitely end with a cliffhanger for the eventual Avengers 4 to conclude. Personally, I think Disney going full Shakespeare and offing them all except two would make for a pretty interesting one.

But why will Tony Stark and Stephen Strange be spared from the carnage? It has to do with Strange’s power and Stark’s importance to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Primarily because there wouldn’t be a Marvel Cinematic Universe without the smashing commercial and critical success of that first Iron Man movie which kicked this whole thing off.

Tony Stark is the lynchpin of the MCU, and clearly the primary character. For me, I find it difficult to believe Disney will kill the one who started it all.

Secondly, I keep thinking back to the scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron when Tony has a nightmare vision of earth being invaded and with the entire Avengers team dead. You even see Captain America’s shield shattered, perhaps alluding to the state Cap is in during Infinity War. I can’t shake the feeling that scene still means something.

As for Doctor Strange, he’s got the time stone so there will probably be some time-travel rigamarole involved with that to end up saving the day.

Well, friends that is my official Infinity War prediction. Only a few short days to truly find out if it rings even slightly true!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
