I used to be an avid hater of Birkenstocks. I swore I would never touch them with a ten-foot pole, much less put them on my feet. Oh, but how times have changed. I had a revelation and seen the light: Birks are truly one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I will ever own. For all you haters, here are a few reasons why you should change your mind:

1. They are insanely comfortable and are good for your feet.

2. There are a ton of styles and colors to choose from.

3. They will last you pretty much forever.

4. They work with basically any outfit: shorts, a dress, pants, you name it.

5. Both men and women can wear them.

6. They're made from all-natural materials.

7. They're great traveling shoes. No fuss at airport security!

8. It's the perfect shoe to wear when you need to walk a lot on hot days.

So for all of you that don't wear Birkenstocks, I forgive you. Just don't hate on me when I'm reaping the benefits!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
