In just a little over a week all of the people in relationships that you know will be posting pictures of their love lives on the internet. They will be acting as though people actually care about the giant box of chocolates that they received matters. When in reality no one cares. You will sit there and wonder, "Isn't there anything else that these people could be posting about? Why must they rub it in?" The answer to this question is yes. They could be posting about many things! Here are eleven other things to learn about from, Elite Readers, and look at instead of the love lives of the people around you. Do not sit and be sad, read this article.

1. Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to the 18 million people whom have a birthday today. I am sorry that you had to be born on Valentines Day. But positives, chocolate giant teddy bears, and flowers go on sale tomorrow, enjoy the next day.

2. Slam Trunk

Do you see what I did there? I know I am a comedian.

3. Eggs

190 Million eggs are being laid today. By chickens that is.

4. Random

What happens when you type in the word random image. I was shocked it was not something gross.

5. Your toilet

In one day the world flushes 22 billion times. This is why you shouldn't eat an entire box of chocolate in one day.

6. Amazing

Of course when you type in the word amazing in google images you get a huge mountain spider with a lava mouth. Why wouldn't you get this? If anyone actually knows what this is, let me know.

7.Walking

Each person on earth will take an average of 8,000 steps. Before anyone gets angry at this fact, remember I said average. I know for a fact I personally do not take this many steps every day, but on an 'average' day I do and so do you. I wonder how many steps a puffin takes is equal to one human step.

8. Bread Pug

I don't know if it is the time of night or if this is actually that funny, but this cracks me up. How about you?

9.London

93,000 rats are going to be born in London today. How romantic is that?

10. The sky

The night sky is so beautiful. This photo is beautiful.

11. Talking

Each person will say an average of 48,000 words today. I know many people that can do this and even more at times.

Instead of going back to scrolling through those sappy romantic posts on your social media page on the 14th do yourself a favor. I insist that you go out, buy some ice cream and have a Netflix night. This day will come and go soon enough, it is not worth being depressed over. Have a great day!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
