As a kid, I was super into the Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Demi Lovato and Big Time Rush. I listened to them religiously and owned t-shirts and other memorabilia like action figures, posters and CDs.
One time, I specifically remember going into this store when they were advertising this Hannah Montana makeover package, which included a t-shirt, an iconic blonde Hannah wig, and a kid's makeup kit, and me, being the obsessed 12-year-old that I was, BEGGED my mom for it. I ended up getting it and I felt like the coolest kid in school with that Hannah t-shirt.
Unfortunately, the only artists that I got to see live were The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, who I had the pleasure of seeing when she was on Future Now: The Tour with Nick! Even though Big Time Rush, the Jonas Brothers, and Hannah Montana are no longer making music, we can still jam out to these iconic songs.
1. Burnin' Up - Jonas Brothers
Who doesn't love this song? And Big Rob's solo rap? ICONIC.
2. SOS - Jonas Brothers
Kevin's little arm dance? and Joe literally cutting himself on glass during the 2008 AMA's? So many iconic things in this song.
3. Year 3000 - Jonas Brothers
I TOOK A TRIP TO THE YEAR 3000, THIS SONG HAD GONE MULTI-PLATINUM, EVERYBODY BOUGHT OUR SEVENTH ALBUM, IT HAD OUTSOLD KELLY CLARKSON!
4. Best of Both Worlds - Hannah Montana
I don't know about you, but my 12-year-old self was shook when I found out Miley and Hannah were the same person, so this song was very traumatic for me, but now, it's a nostalgic jam.
5. Nobody's Perfect - Hannah Montana
I high-key still bust out in song randomly and it catches everyone off guard.
6. Life's What You Make It - Hannah Montana
I still have the Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus CD somewhere in my room and this is high-key my favorite song off of it.
7. Big Time Rush - Big Time Rush
You're lying if you say you don't know the lyrics to this song.
8. Any Kind of Guy - Big Time Rush
This is low-key (also high-key) still on my playlist.
9. Till I Forget About You - Big Time Rush
Before I got into all the bands that I'm into now, this was THE go to break-up song, and low-key probably still is.
10. Worldwide - Big Time Rush
When Jo left Kendall at the airport to board the plane, I literally felt my heart break into two.
11. Get Back - Demi Lovato
2008 Demi was iconic, what more can I say?
12. Here We Go Again - Demi Lovato
My 12-year-old/teenage self was jamming to these break-up songs before I even knew what a break-up was.
13. Heart Attack - Demi Lovato
Still HIGH-KEY my jam.
