While going back to school and getting away from home is exciting, packing is probably the worst part. Making sure that you do not forget anything important or seemingly unimportant. The pressure to remember everything can be much and you will usually forget at least one thing. If you are lucky, your mom is there to make you double, triple, and quadruple check to make sure you have absolutely everything you could need.

1. I really do not want to do this.

Just having to pack everything after just getting used to being back home and being on that schedule just does not sound enjoyable in any way.

2. Do I really have this much clothes?

How do I have this much clothes and only wear the same four pairs of pants and six shirts? Then you realize that it is not really all that much because it all fits into a single suitcase.

3. Let's make sure to pack every article of clothing from the past two years because of the small chance that I have event it would work for.

4. Folding everything.

If you are like me, you organize your clothes and then fold them. I actually roll most of my clothes and only fold things like dresses, I find it saves space. Or it at least makes me feel like I am saving space.

5. Putting folded clothes into suitcase.

6. Wow, I have done a lot of work, I can take a break.

After the hour or so that it has taken to organize, fold, and pack all clothes into a single suitcase, a break is deserved.

7. *break lasts for an hour and a half*

And on this break you check every social media app, play every game, watch a few videos, and anything else to not go back to packing.

8. Okay, now on to packing things besides clothes.

This is the part that brings me the most stress. You have to pack so many things. For me that includes books, makeup, art supplies, camera, journals, jackets/cardigans, etc. Then the day of you have to pack last minute things and pray you do not forget anything.

9. I definitely deserve another break by now.

This break will probably consist of a nap from packing everything you own into a few bags.

Now maybe it is much easier for you to pack, but the idea of having to go back to school and adjust to an entire new schedule is a little stressful to me.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
