We all love movies, right? No matter who you are, everyone loves too curl up and sit with friends or family and indulge in whatever movie you wish. But there's never enough good movies. But there are a lot of good books! Like a movie in your head! But why not have both? So without further ado, here are nine books that need to be made into (good) movies!

1. Finding Zasha/Saving Zasha by Randi Barrow

These two books are set around in Russia either during WWII or after, depending on which book. The books center on a German Sheppard named Zasha who is saved from being weaponized by Nazis. And of course, dogs in any book or movie are an immediate A+.

2. H2O by Virginia Bergin

I don't know what my fascination is with books that give me nightmares, but here you go! "H2O" is about a world where rain suddenly becomes deadly poisonous, killing anyone who comes in contact with it. It's both terrifying, heart-wrenching and actually surprisingly funny.

3. Wizards of Once by Cressida Cowell

This was such a good book! "Wizards of Once" is about, well, wizards who are hiding from a race of warriors who intend to wipe out magic. I'm picturing an animated movie, though I'm not sure if little kids would be OK after seeing an animated Witch King...

4. The Name of This Book Is Secret by Pseudonymous Bosch

Well, in a summery not to give away a secret, some secret kids go on a secret mission to a secret place. I picture this as a Netflix series like "Series of Unfortunate Events" to be honest, but still fun!

5. The House of Scorpion by Nancy Farmer

This book, the story of a clone named Matt trying to survive in a dystopian world, is so detail-oriented that it might be hard to make. But I picture Ian McKellan as El Patron already, so...

6. The Girl Who Could Fly by Victoria Forester

How is this not a movie this is the best story of all time? I won't give a summery because frankly, if the title doesn't give it away, you need to read more often.

7. Fablehaven by Brandon Mull

Something that I'm dead shocked hasn't been done. We could have had a "Fablehaven" movie, with amazing acting, CGI and probably a successful series. But instead, we got an "Emoji Movie."

8. The Penderwicks by Jeanette Birdsall

Okay so I've heard the author has said she's going to hold onto the copyright for this book until she dies but...here's hoping? Anyway, this book is a basic, but cute and sweet story about a family of four girls with a single father.

9. Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor

A short but emotional read, this is the story of a black family trying to weather through a racist Southern town in the 30s. Hey, anyone want to call the "Black Panther" cast and tell them the pitch?

Being Invisible The Best Super Power

The best superpower ever? Being invisible of course. Imagine just being able to go from seen to unseen on a dime. Who wouldn't want to have the opportunity to be invisible? Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
