The New Year is upon us. It would be super easy to jot down a list of things like "lose weight" or "eat healthier"... BORING. For years, The Office has been sending us a perfect list of resolutions for every new year, without even knowing. In the mess of these next few weeks, take a look at these inspirational goals set by The Office.

1. Everyone wants a big butt and a bigger heart, right?

2. Listen more, talk less.

3. Think logically.

4. Rationalize your goals.

5. uh.... Take a break?

6. Make new friends.

7. I mean, if you REALLY WANT to run.

8. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

9. STOP PROCRASTINATING.

10. Finally, live life to the fullest.

Okay, so this last one is the most important of them all. Its so easy to get caught up in life and its twists and turns. Remember to make life what you want it to be. Let 2017 be the year you start grasping your potential and make yourself proud.


We all know, nothing can be worse than 2016.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
