Netflix: the only way to spend your weeknights or weekends sitting in your bed, watching your favorite flick or even a television series that you may not see on your TV.

Netflix has become a worldwide sensation that everyone can find their favorite show or movie and can easily watch anything all day long. Lately, Netflix has added a few new shows and movies that everyone has been raving about.

1. Riverdale

A series that can be described as a weirdly, dark comedy which originated from a comic series called Archie. The show takes place in a smaller town named Riverdale which revolves around a singular teenager who was found dead mysteriously, leaving the murderer missing.

This addictive series leaves the watchers unsure and even, nervous, to watch the next episode. Not only is this show perfect for any age teenagers, it is a murder mystery so all those mystery movie lovers, be sure to check this series out!

2. Scandal

Scandal, once just an ABC series has become a binge-watching "soap opera". Olivia Pope, who plays Kerry Washington, dedicates her entire life to protecting images of the elite by keeping secrets.

Throughout this series, Kerry Washington and her entire team make sure to keep these secrets save, until trouble hits. This thriller and dramatic series taken place in Washington D.C. has never-ending drama and secrets that will make you want to keep clicking on "Next Episode" until you finish.

3. Jane The Virgin

Easily can be described as a heart-warming and brilliant series, Jane The Virgin stars Gina Rodriguez who plays the "virgin", who has a story that she doesn't want to explain and reveal to her parents.

While she deals with her super religious family understanding her secret life behind them, this series dives deep into the insane drama between Jane and her uncontrolled and hectic life. Check out this series if you are into dramatic shows with a twist of adventure.

4. 13 Reasons Why

This series is definitely one that you shouldn't miss, considering it is a crazy mix between a mystery, teenager drama, web television series which originated from the book series. The series focuses on a high schooler, Clay Jenson and focuses on his friend Hanna Baker who committed suicide but recorded several tapes explaining the many, many reasons behind her wanting to end her life forever.

While it may be graphic and emotional at some moments that might make you not even want to look at the screen, there isn't a second you want to miss while watching this show!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
