You'll never be perfect. Perfection is impossible to achieve, so stop trying to be perfect. Now this doesn't mean this gives you an excuse to do nothing about your physical or mental state. While you can never be perfect you can better yourself everyday. Learn from a past mistake and apply that into the new day. Apply what you learned so you don't make that mistake again. If you cannot find the wrong, dig a little deeper. Sit on it, keep your thoughts clear and without emotion and more than likely it'll just come to you one day while thinking about it.
The biggest thing is that you don't get angry with yourself when you fail, because you will fail before you get better. I won't sugarcoat it, you will fail again and again. You will think that this is stupid and ask yourself why you are doing this. I say pick your head up and get out of that thought process. Look back and see how far you've come, remember why you started this whole thing in the first place. This journey is long and it will be painful. You might have to break away from mostly to everything you know, that includes friends. Its the way it is because you got to get away from people who aren't helping you. But it will be worth it because you will be miles wiser than everyone else and then you can start sharing what you've learned to the next one in line, to your friends, to whoever is willing to listen.
The reason you don't get angry is because you are going to send yourself in to a vicious cycle. You climb up so far and then you fail, crash back down. You get back up and you curse yourself out for failing and then start climbing again. You fall, cycle repeats again and again and again until you say, "Screw this I'm done with this shit. This is so stupid, why would anyone try to do this?" And you march off and stay miserable for the rest of your life. If you realized that if you just took a deep breath and let go of that anger you may have made it up on that try. If not, on the next try or the next, maybe it'll take you fifty more tries but there'll be a difference in your attitude. Instead of being consumed with anger, you'll be consumed with the curiosity of why you fail and, to be honest, happiness because you are learning another piece of the puzzle of life. I know that letting go of your anger is so hard but it can be done. You just have to get outside of your head, your emotions. Once you've done that, every possibility to learn will open up.
Back to sharing the wisdom. This is the whole reason I chose to write for Odyssey, I wanted to share the knowledge that I'd gained as I take this journey to anyone I could. I started on Instagram then my best friend told me about Odyssey. So here I am, I know I can't change the world but I can change the world for one person. If I can do that, I will consider every article worth it because that one person can do the same for someone else and that sets off a chain reaction. One person, to the next person, to the next, to the next, to the next. It's crazy what can happen when you lend a hand.
