A Lush Bath Bomb Review

Never Mind The Ballistics

I am a self declared Lush Cosmetic's junkie. Bath bombs are my weakness, and last night while I was taking a dip in my personal paradise that is my tub, and I had an idea to write an article about my experiences with luxury bath products! If you are interested, keep reading. Today I will be discussing Lush Cosmetic's Never Mind The Ballistics. _____________________________________________________________________

Priced at $7.95 U.S. Dollars, Lush describes this bath bomb/bath melt combo by saying, "These aren’t ingredients for anybody else except yourself. Lime and sweet wild orange oils are fresh and peachy on the nose, exciting the senses and shaking up your mood. There’s no time for apathy in the bath, so this anarchic bath bomb fizzes and rolls and spews color with a no-holds-barred energy. Fair trade cocoa butter melts alongside fresh bananas to soften both the water and your skin. You'll want to put this one on repeat."

Personally, I loved this bath bomb! I was so excited to use it because it is both a bath bomb and a melt.

For those who do not know; a bath bomb is a product that when it comes into contact with water, causes a chemical reaction and changes the color of the water and emits the smell of essential oils. A bath melt is exactly what it sounds like. It makes the water have a silky, moisturizing texture and also emits the smell of essential oils.

Before putting it in the bath, I was expecting it to turn the water a straight yellow color. I wasn't very excited about that, but I was surprised to discover how the water melted into a beautiful coral. I also anticipated it taking a long time to dissolve, but it went much faster than I expected.

Before submerging the sphere underwater, it smelled like SweetTarts to me. After the chemical reaction was initiated, my bath smelled and looked like frozen strawberry lemonade. I loved it! It was a smell that was both relaxing and refreshing. (It made me feel like I was at Disney World.)

The water was very moisturizing as to be expected with a bath melt. The smell lightly lingered on my skin after my bath.

Overall, I would give this bath bomb 4.5 out of 5 stars. It exceeded my anticipations and made a gorgeous bath! I wish there had been more in the way of bath art, but overall it was a wonderful product!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
