There is only one thing that you take to the grave by choice and it is not your best friends secret that you probably told your Husband. It is your tattoo.
A tattoo to many are considered art. Not every tattoo has to have a meaning either. However, no matter what kind of tattoo you are looking at, it does not determine someones work ethic.
With tattoos, although you love them others such as conservatives and the work force may not be so accepting of your ink. While everyone else gets to enjoy the beautiful weather , and wear a short sleeve business casual shirt you have to wear a cardigan in the middle of summer. Simply because your tattoos are considered a distraction. But if you get hot , you cannot die of heat exhaustion so sometimes they have to show ! What are they going to do ? Make you take your tattoos off?
Tattoos are slowly becoming more acceptable with millennials. Recently there has been a picture circulating through Facebook of a nurse, who was questioned about her purple hair color, multiple piercings and tattoos. The only question to kill the concern is "When has the color of someones hair , or the tattoo of a beautiful rose on their arm ever stopped them from savings someones life?"
For those who are concerned, I do not regret any of my tattoos. For those who care about how they will look when I get older, well I will be the hottest senior citizen you know.
A fun Fact, for Mom who is worried about your son getting his first Tattoo. Researchers are finding that the more tattoos one gets can add to their overall health. The first time you get a tattoo your body undergoes stress. The more you go through that stress , your body builds and strengthens. Its almost the equivalent of going to the gym. The more resistance , the stronger your body becomes.

I will say although that before you go out and splurge it is important to understand that although your a should not define your success, if you get something offensive regarding race or gangs , you may cut your job list in half. One job , you will lose for sure is joining the United States Military. To walk around with a gang sign, not only are you memorable to the enemy but you also become a liability. You can become a liability to any company. Not just based off of the fact that if you get hurt , they may have to pay for you but liability as in if a customer does not like you having "white power " tattooed on the back of your head, it is beyond easy to sue these days.
