Netflix Binge Into School

Netflix has always been a way of life since it began some years ago. It has been a holy grail for many, especially for college students like myself. Even though Netflix is known for the old movies that was released back when we were kids, recently Netflix has been stepping up there game. They have added 20 more movies and shows and removed 10 movies and shows like "Pursuit of Happiness." As new shows and movies arrive comes the long awaited binges that we all need to get out the show hole. Here are 11 options you can watch and binge on:

1. "Revolution"

This show is which aired in 2014 , is about a world that has no power whatsoever. The main character Charlie (daughter of Ben) is searching for her brother Danny, as he was taken by the miltia and on her search she has friends and her Uncle Miles to accompany her while also unlocking the key to find out how to turn on the power.

2. "Minions"

Who doesn't like the minions?! The Minions movie is on Netflix and its a movie that anyone can watch, as Bob and two other minions search for there new master so there tribe can survive. We go through a lot of funny scenes and bananas.

3. "Between"

The show is about finding out what happened to a cozy town when everyone over 22 happens to die from a mysterious disease. As the rest of the towns people have to fight to survive once the government quarantines them. A pregnant Sam from the show iCarly and others try to solve what happened.

4. "Stranger Things"

An Netflix original series that I have on my list to watch is "Stranger Things." As a little boy ends up missing it is the trigger point that starts to uncover strange things happening in a town where they have secret experiments, supernatural forces, and a strange girl.

5. "Difret"

"Difret" is a movie by Angelina Jolie Pitt, that tells of a 14-year-old girl that was kidnapped from school by men and was raped by the leader that wants her for a wife. She kills him and is locked up for murder and a women comes to her aid to unlock her world and get her freedom.

6. "The Big Short"

This movie is based n a true story as Michael Burry buys in the housing market and catches the attention of Jared, Ryan Gosling, Mark, Steve Carell, and others as they try making huge money by taking advantage of the collapsing economy.

7. "The Giver"

I actually highly recommend watching this movie, "The Giver." It is a story about a young man who receives a job as kind of a historian that keeps track of the history of the world. He is deemed the receiver and hos mentor the giver, gives him so much insight that he starts to see the world in color...literally. The movie starts out gray and as he receives knowledge and emotions the world becomes colorful.

8. "The Lovely Bones"

One of the saddest movies that we have seen is on Netflix. The story about a girl that tells us how she was captured and killed. As she narrates how he watched her and how her family is determined to find out who is her killer.

9. "The Fundamentals of Caring"

A Netflix original that even I haven't watched yet has some awesome reviews. As it is about a shut0in and his caregiver going on a trip and going on a adventure that leads to friendships and hope .

10. "Honey"

We all know the movie that started Jessica Alba was Honey. Watch as you relive the awesome dance moves and the younger version of Bow Wow before he starts saying that he's mixed and doesn't understand the black struggle.

11. "The Do Over"

Adam Sandler and David Spade are in for a ride as there characters, Max and Charlie take on new lives as they planned to pretend to die in order to live a new life. This movie is filled with hilarious moments and even some weird moments as well with a tall gymnast guy.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
