It’s okay to need someone.

Pouring your feelings into anyone can be extremely scary. You don’t want anyone to be responsible for your happiness, so don’t let them.

It’s okay to need someone.

But the one thing to remember when realizing you need someone is this: no matter how bad you need someone, at the end of the day, you will never have anyone else but yourself. You can be intertwined heart and soul, naked on a bed with nothing but everlasting love for another person. But no matter how much you’re connected with someone, deep down, you will always have yourself.

You need yourself before needing anyone else.

And if it hasn’t worked that way yet, work on loving and needing yourself and not loving and needing anyone else. It’s important and can save your life.
