The great outdoors is a place of passion, love, happiness, and adventure for every enthusiast far and wide. And where there are adventurers, there are stereotypes. However, not all stereotypes have to be bad things; especially the typical characteristics of most outdoors enthusiasts:
1. You probably most definitely owned Birkenstocks before they were cool.
It's ok to be a little hipster... plus, Birks are so ridiculously comfortable.
2. Your closet contains a lot of tie dye and random t-shirts.
Every t-shirt from every 5k ever.
3. And stuff from REI
All the comfy sweaters and windbreakers please.
Oh and those awesome wool socks that make my backpacking trips much more fun.
4. And mainly versatile outfits that can be used for both adventuring and doing fancy things.

Because you'll never know when you'll be hiking a mountain one moment and going out to a nice dinner the next.
5. You have more pairs of hiking boots than regular shoes.
6. Also, you probably have a pair of Tevas.
And you definitely bought these before they became cool again.
7. You have a drawer dedicated to moisture wicking socks and underwear.
never. enough. socks.
8. You also have a shelf solely for your different water bottles and camel backs.
A water bottle for every mood, right? Right.
9. And a closet for all of your gear (or you need a closet).
Or maybe you need an entire garage...
10. The word "backpack" has many different terms and conditions
Because you own six different backpacks for different kinds of hikes or occasions, and they're all different sizes.
11. People frequently ask if there’s anything you don’t do.
12. Which probably sparks from your willingness to try new things and go out of your comfort zone.
It's just in your nature, that's all.
13. You’d rather go to an outdoor sports store than the mall.
Because being in one of those beautiful stores is like entering the adventurer's Candy Land.
14. And you dream of owning every new awesome piece of equipment there is.
*drools*
15. Your gear is basically treated better than a child or loved one.
16. Because some of it is worth more than you’d like to admit.
You know which products I'm talking about.
