Why Trump Using The Word "We" Is So Important

Let's be a nation united, not one divided by a Twitter account.

I recently attended CPAC, the largest gathering of Conservatives. The event was filled with excellent speakers, great opportunities, and held at a beautiful hotel. I was privileged to get pictures with and meet some incredible people. Shawn Hannity and Peggy Grande to name a couple. However, there was one speaker that was extra special. Donald. J. Trump, the President of the United States of America. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I was very excited. President Trump did not disappoint.

It was an honor and incredibly exciting to hear from the leader of the nation, but also a president who has actually done good in his time in office. President Trump spoke on many issues, addressed many hot topics, and had standing constantly. When one protestor started to yell at him, the president calmly let the police do their job, and proceeded to handle the situation in a way only Donald Trump could. He addressed the protestor, and made a fun comment about how the news would say there were many protestors, but there was only one. Fake news anyone?

I noticed one thing in particular with his speaking. Instead of constantly saying what he was going to do as president, he instead said what we were going to do. The President of the United States recognized that we are one nation under God, and made sure to speak in a way that demonstrated we are in this together. President Trump may be in charge, but we need to do our part to help the laws and bills stay, and be successful.

President Trump used the word we because he recognizes it is a collective effort. He is the leader, but we need to come behind him and help. Instead of obsessing over his twitter feed, why don’t we channel that energy and passion into helping him succeed? He has already done many wonderful things in office, and if we want those things to keep happening, it’s time we step up to the plate.

There were thousands of people at CPAC ready and waiting to do that, and I am sure that there are plenty more people that are ready to strengthen our nation by helping our President. By using the word we, the president made me respect him even more. As the president, he holds a lot of power, and he has used it wonderfully.

President Trump has been a force for good, and respects God. He has been an example for the people of America and people in power. Instead of focusing on his cursing, twitter, and tan, lets focus on his good qualities. Let’s focus on being One nation under God, instead of a nation divided over a twitter account.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
